Jide Tinubu is the founder and CEO of Tenax Energy and subsidiary companies. He is a seasoned and successful entrepreneur who co-founded the TSL group of companies.
He was a co-founder in Transport Services Limited (TSL), the leading road transportation company in Nigeria, as well as TSL logistics, the largest independent petroleum infrastructure O&M (Operations & Management) company in Africa. He has over 20 years’ experience working in different roles within the oil and gas industry both locally and internationally.
Prior to founding these Companies, Jide worked in the Legal Department of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (now Exxon Mobil), and with Cargo Maritime, Paris – a firm of ship brokers that specializes in petroleum product tankers.
Mr. Tinubu also worked with Ocean and Oil Services Limited, where he regularly coordinated large scale road transportation of bitumen and other petroleum products purchased from the company to various parts of the country.
Jide holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Liverpool, England and a Master’s degree in Maritime Law from the University of London. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999.
Bayo Olukotun has garnered lots of experience during his career in various sectors of the marine and maritime Industry.
He has in past twenty-five years worked in several companies including UMARCO/Coastal Service, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company as well as Bourbon lnter oil Nigeria Limited amongst others.
He held various roles in Shipping & Forwarding, Terminal operations, Marine Logistics, Maritime contract management amongst others.
Bayo obtained his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Ibadan. Bayo has taken courses from Lloyd Maritime Academy including the Diploma in Maritime Business Management.
Jerry Obionu is a seasoned finance professional and a business leader with about two decades of experience in financial and asset management, project execution and delivery, operations management, commercial and business planning, strategy formulation and execution.
Prior to joining Tenax, Jerry served as the Chief Operating Officer at Duport Midstream Company Limited, where he was responsible for developing, communicating, and executing a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives. He also collaborated with the executive team to define long-term goals, business plans, and expansion strategies for the company’s energy park.

Jerry holds a B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and an MBA from Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Seyi Simeon is an accomplished finance executive with over 28 years of professional experience in financial management, audit, and internal controls. His expertise includes more than five years of demonstrable success in transaction advisory, corporate finance, deal structuring, valuation, M&A advisory, and financial due diligence.
Prior to joining Tenax, Seyi served as Group CFO at Swift Oil Group, where he supported the development of long-term organizational strategy. He was also responsible for the effective delivery of budget control, management reporting, general ledger oversight, and account reconciliations.
He previously held senior leadership roles including:
Seyi holds a B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of London.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Olaniyan Caxton-Martins is a seasoned professional with a career spanning over 13 years in the offshore drilling, contract management, business development, project management, and manufacturing sectors of the Oil & Gas industry.
Prior to joining Tenax Energy, Olaniyan worked as an Operations Engineer/Rig Manager for OES Energy Services (formerly Oando Energy Services), a Business Development & Technical Services Manager for Oilcroft Energy and Vantage Screens respectively.
